An afternoon of food, paired beverages and connection on the farm.
A collaboration between Neighbourhood Farm, sommelier Olivia Evans, and chef Sarah Baldwin of Joy Restaurant.
In an intimate group setting, we invite you to spend the afternoon immersed in the beauty of one of Brisbane’s few independently owned organic farms. Your experience begins with a farm tour hosted by Matt, farm owner and manager at Neighbourhood Farm. From there you’ll gather around communal tables for a farm feast where Sarah incorporates flavours from her award-winning restaurant, Joy, while honouring the incredible produce sourced from metres away from where you will dine. Lunch will be served over 4 courses and Olivia will match your beverages, sharing stories of producers, provenance and the pleasures of pairing.
Important Information
Dress Code: Your Sunday best! We are on a farm so please wear appropriate shoes.
Dietary requirements: Due to the nature of the menu and event format, we are only able to cater for the following dietary requirements that MUST be mentioned at the time of booking: Vegetarian, Low Gluten (not suitable for celiac diets).
Beverage matching: Please indicate at the time of booking the preference for you and your guests for alcoholic beverages or alcohol-free beverages in the pairing.
Wine: The wine pairing is spread across multiple courses over the afternoon. We recommend a ride-hailing or taxi service. Please note: additional beverages will not be available to purchase on the day.
Transport: If you need assistance with transport, please let us know if we can help to connect you with other reservations that would like to ride-share. The closest train station is Oxley Station and is 800m away from the farm (approximately $10 uber ride).
