Joy. is a very small operation, run by just us!
This is why it may seem a little tricky to secure a reservation at times. As well as being tiny, we are currently booked up 3 months in advance. This is why the reservation calendar displayed below may show that nothing is available. We don’t operate a waitlist, but we do post all our cancellations onto our Instagram. This is the best way to snag a last minute cancellation if they do occur.
Below is some important information to help you understand how we do things at Joy. This information is to ensure you, us, and the other guests dining at Joy, all have as much fun as possible.
At Joy. we seat guests Thursday to Saturday and offer 5:30pm and 8:30pm reservations. During your 2.5 hour reservation you will enjoy the menu we have on offer that evening.
At the moment, our largest reservation size is 4 people and we are not currently offering the venue for hire.
At Joy.,we seat all guests at the same time. For this reason, we kindly ask that you arrive on time to your reservation. We request this so that you do not miss your first course.
Booking release dates are as follows
June 2021 will be released at midnight on March 01st 2021
July 2021 will be released at midnight on April 01st 2021
August 2021 will be released at midnight on May 01st 2021

I am so, so excited that we are back open and feeding people in a post Covid world.
We have spent the last few weeks/months adapting and changing and learning along the way.
While we are still operating under current Covid restrictions, I am feeling optimistic for next years dining.
For this reason, reservations from March 2021 onwards will be released without restriction.
This means;
- we will be taking reservations for any size up to 4 people
- we will be seating 10 people in each sitting again
- reservation times are 5:30pm and 8:30pm
- our current set menu does not cater to severe allergies, some minor alterations may be accommodated to with at least one weeks notice. Please contact us via email with any questions regarding this
please keep in mind that we may have to revert back to restricted dining, if the Government decides so. In this case, we will do our best to contact you and act accordingly
There is a ZERO tolerance policy towards any aggressive, passive aggressive, argumentative, or self-righteous behaviour. Anyone even tethering the line of these actions will be permanently blocked from making a reservation. We have the right to remove any reservations if we feel they have breached our terms and conditions.
With all that being said- we are so excited to finally welcome you all back to our kitchen counter in a healthy, happy, socially distanced, sanitised manner.
